Love you in slow motion

Look! I'm actually in the driver's seat! LOL.

Yes, weekend already. This school week has been whatevs. I registered for my classes - I'll be getting out at around 3 - 5PM every day (besides Friday, I actually have school on Friday next quarter, yuck), but like I said before... gotta do what you gotta do. I'll be taking Biology/Anatomy, Philosophy, Sociology, &Jazz dance. But that'll all be in mid-March. As for my current classes...

Got an A on my Sign Language test, A on my Speech midterm, and a B on my Chemistry midterm. Ugh, the B isn't good enough. I might sound dramatic, but if you know how hard it is to get into nursing programs these days, then you know it's not that good. During my breaks &after school I've been chilling with Valerie &/or Niko and it's been fun. Going to the mall almost every damn day isn't good for me, but whatever, haha.

Today, I got to sleep in! I didn't go to the mall with Valerie, but s'all good. I ended up playing Mario Tennis 64 all morning while doing chores until 3PM, when I headed to Nogales to pick up Martinez &Ashley to get some Yogurt. Went to Tutti Frutti and tried samples for forever so we can be cheap and not buy so much, lol. And then we went to In N Out and talked about random shit, 'cus that's how LB does it, haha. I dropped them off at home and picked up bestfriend Ace, and I drove all the way to Diamond Bar's Target just because I wanted to drive around, haha. We walked around and bought Erica a birthday card - and it started pouring, I never really drove in the rain before so I was kinda scared, haha. Anywhoo, picked up Jason and met up at CPK for Erica's 19th birthday dinner with - Erica, Mae, Jerome, Renabette, Monica, Valerie, Celine &Abby. The service was fcking slow but whatevs, we all cracked jokes and told stories about everything and anything. I watched Jerome break a fork into two, and Valerie taught me how to put my hand in a candle without getting burnt. Shared pizzas with Abby &Ace and we all took pictures and went to Creekside Park to hang out only to find it pouring more than it was at CPK, so I dropped off Jason, Monica, and Ace, and went home. Ridge &Ryan wanted to chill so my cousins came over to play some Mario Tennis 64 with me. That's what's up. T
here you have it.

As for tomorrow... I thiiink plans are still on to watch a movie with Kelly, Nate &Gessica, and maybe a dinner for Stephanie's birthday, but if anything I'll be rolling with Valerie, Mae &Monica to Aileen's birthday party. Aaand Sunday is dance practice, yet again. I'm taking advantage of the weekend before it's time to go back to school.___. can't believe we don't get the presidents' birthdays off!

No feeling talks in this blog - just thankful that I have a handful of good friends I can always be around. Appreciating everything I can.

Like my new jacket?!

Calm down, turbo.

I HATE SCHOOL but I need to stop complaining because it's getting me nowhere. Damnit, I need to wake up at 6AM to register for my Spring quarter classes. But what the helllll, winter quarter isn't even half way done and we're already moving forward to the next. Shiiiiiit, spring and summer classes are deadly... but I gotta do what I gotta do to get where I want.

Last Friday was legit. After getting my license YAY Andrew picked me up and we went to Francis' house and met up with everyone: Francis obviously, Eliry, Rafael, Jason, Jillene, Tawny, and later, Ronnie. We headed to West Co Lanes and bowled. I hella bowled goood! (: I had a 3 strikes, a spare, a strike, a spare, and a spare, in that order LOL I still remember because I've never done that well in my life. Scored a 159! After 2 hours of bowling we had dinner at Applebee's and met up with Damian, Jacinto, and Antonio. It was fun catching up with everyone and listening to everyone tell stories.

Saturday was winterformal time. Ridge spent the morning with me chilling and waiting to get ready for winterformal - luckily I found the perfect tie to match Victoria's dress thanks to my cousin. Niko picked the cousin &me up and we headed to Xinping to pick up our dates. Went to expose, took pictures, yada yada, and took a van full of people to Upland, Imagine That. The place was kinda bougie, buuut the DJ was legit (: Spent the whole night dancing with Victoria and random people (mainly Martinez and Ace's friends haha) and having fun. Definitely worth going to, thanks Victoria. After the dance ended at midnight, we all headed to the after party at Xinping's. Chilled for a while until Gene &Brittany wanted to go home. I took Niko's van and dropped them off (: Geez I just love being licensed haha ehh I know I'll get sick of it later. Anyways, I went back to the party and picked up more people and took them home, and drove myself and Ridge home haha. Ridge was too high to even understand what he was saying so we ko'ed in my living room.

We woke up at 8AM ._____. since we had dance practice at 9. Drove to my Tita's house in Walnut and got to work. Blehhh I danced the whole night before, and dancing again hella killed me haha. Buuut we pretty much finished the dance. (: I went home after to KO and watch the Superbowl game while studying for my tests &midterm...

Which I did well on - both of them! My classes were short due to my test and midterm so I had a lot of chillage time, mainly trying to figure out my fucking schedule next quarter.

As for the weekend, assuming things work out the way I want it to, haha I'll be shopping with Valerie, taking Ace out for pizookies, Erica's 19th birthday dinner, and going to the movies with Kelly Nate &Gessica. Three more freaking days of schoooool this week, hurry up!

I know I'm not that much older than my high school friends (because I have plenttty) and I know that I'm not the same person as I was before.... but it surprises me how fast they've all turned to the dark side, per say haha. Not that waiting to be rebellious until after I turned 18 and graduated from high school is that much different, but in some ways it is. I can't imagine myself partying and doing all that stuff that my parents would disapprove of while I was still stressing from all that AP/IB bullshit. And it makes me sad seeing how much poorly they're doing now, in school I mean. But hey, I'm not their father... who am I to say what they should or shouldn't do? Then again, I am their friend. But who the hell listens to anyone nowadays anyway? Isn't it all about having fun and partying and getting buzzed and getting high?

I've paid my dues. I worked my asssssssssssss off in high school. Anyone who begs to differ that I don't deserve it can tell me. Buuuutt... whatever call me a hypocrite.

Different backgrounds, different lifestyles, different experiences, different lives. But it's so hard not to judge when they're people you care about, right?
It's not only about the process, it's the finish line, too.

Until next time.
